“If you’ve seen one rural community you have seen just one community!”
The theme of the 14th National Rural Health Conference being held in Cairns this week is A World of Rural Health in Australia…to reflect the diversity of health care settings and challenges in rural, regional and remote Australia.
Journalist Melissa Sweet is providing detailed reporting from the conference for the Croakey Conference News Service and live-tweeting at #ruralhealthconf.
This post aims to capture some of the diversity at the conference, which has brought more than 1200 people to Cairns, with happy snaps, tweets and the beginnings of a “Wall of Selfies” – which we will continue to update during the conference.
