The Twitter stream from the first day of the NACCHO Summit in Adelaide has been, to borrow one tweep’s assessment, “absolutely awesome” (if you’re wondering who said that, see the bottom of this post).
From my home office in rural NSW, it’s been terrific to get a sense of the presenters and some of the discussions – occurring both at the conference and online.
A warm thanks to all those tweeting at #NACCHOSummit, sharing the news about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, with the theme “Aboriginal health in Aboriginal hands, our business our way”.
And a particular thanks to Pele Bennet, launch tweeter at the new @WePublicHealth account, (and Health Promotion Manager at the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council), who has been working overtime…
