This Thursday, 31 May, is the fifth annual Indigenous Health MayDay Twitter festival – #IHMayDay18.
As previously reported, the theme this year is Stepping Out Into Our Future, and the event is co-hosted on Palm Island by the Palm Island Centenary Committee and local TAFE, in conjunction with Croakey.
Below are some tip sheets with suggestions for how Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, organisations and workplaces can participate in #IHMayDay18.
It is a day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to share their news and knowledge about health, and for non-Indigenous people to listen, and to support the event by retweeting (NOT tweeting). A program detailing the guest tweeters from 7am-10pm AEST will be published at Croakey soon.
Beneath each image is a link to where the tip sheet can be downloaded as a PDF. Towards the end of the post is a series of calls to action, as well as contacts for services.
Please share all these downloadable documents widely with your networks.
