    A great article. As a professional medical recruiter, we ‘know’ from anecdotal experience that: “Persuading a doctor to move to the bush, or to persuade doctors already there to stay, depends on a complex mix of family, professional, and social factors”. However, this research on incentive and what is really important are going to be crucial if this workplace policy can ever move forward. I agree that solid initiatives and rigorous evaluation are the only way to test if the incentives work.
