Indigenous Hip Hop Projects in partnership with Queensland Cervical Screening Program visited Mornington Island to make this song and video clip “Gununa Girls – Time to party”. The blurb says: “… we hope this video celebrates the powerful role women have in making a healthy community, how important it is to look after yourself and your family, and how strong culture will live on in MI for many decades to come. We hope that this clip will encourage women all over the world to have the confidence to go and get a check up and talk to local nurses, doctors and each other around women’s business both mind, spirit and body.”
